Biografía

Almudena es socia de Mercantil y responsable de TMT de Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. Actualmente es Presidenta de la International Bar Association (IBA).

Tiene amplia experiencia en el asesoramiento en materia mercantil y en Derecho de la Competencia y es experta en los sectores de telecomunicación, audiovisual y tecnología.

Licenciada en Derecho por ICADE, cuenta con un máster en Derecho Comunitario por el Colegio de Europa de Brujas (beca de Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores) y el PIL por Harvard Law School. Ha realizado estudios en la Academy of American and International Law.

Almudena fue Presidenta de la Legal Practice Division y actualmente ostenta los cargos de vicepresidenta y miembro del Consejo de la International Bar Association (IBA). Fue miembro del Consejo y miembro de las Comisiones Ejecutiva y de Nombramientos y Retribuciones de la empresa española de satélites Hispasat S.A. Es Secretaria General de Círculo Fortuny (Asociación española de empresas de alta gama) y su representante en la European Cultural and Creative Alliance (ECCIA).

Almudena se encuentra reconocida en los prestigiosos directorios legales como Chambers & Partners y Legal500 como una de las profesionales líderes del mercado en los sectores de las telecomunicaciones, audiovisual y nuevas tecnologías.

Además, ha colaborado en varias publicaciones internacionales especializadas y es autora de numerosas obras individuales y colectivas.
