With more than 20 years of experience advising multinational companies, she is a regular adviser to different players in the automotive industry, including car and spare parts manufacturers and renting operators.
Inside knowledge of the industry is one of her strengths; she headed the legal department of an important OEM as a secondee during different phases of my professional career (2014, 2015 and 2018).

Professional career and specialization

Ainara Rentería is the head of the automotive sector group of the Firm, with more than 20 years of professional experience. She leads the projects of the Firm in the automotive industry.
Among others, she has lead projects for data protection and compliance implementation in the industry, regulatory and privacy framework for cameras in vehicles, geolocalization and WIFI in vehicles, blockchain in vehicles, carsharing, smart stock systems, digital sales of vehicles, commercial contracts within the industry, end users and advertisement legislation, relationship with distribution networks.
She is a regular speaker at legal forums in connection with legal hot topics for connected and autonomous cars. As a way of an example, she is a speaker at the International Bar Association European Automotive and Mobility Services Conference.
She organizes regularly Automotive Legal Forums with the legal departments of the main players of the industry (twice a year) bringing together legal aspects of interest for the industry
