Bio

Ana is a member of the Academic Counsel at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She is specialized in telecommunications, energy, and consumer sector.

She works as a researcher with the Center for Studies of Consumption of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (CESO) and is the director of the Magazine CESCO of consumer rights.

She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and became a professor of Civil Law. She was also accredited by the ANECA for the body of the Titled University Professors. Ana is also a lecturer in the topics of telecommunications, energy supplies, illicit advertisement, and procedural dispute resolution for various public entities such as the National Institute of Consumption, the Generalitat Valenciana, the Junta de Andalucía, the Xunta de Galicia or the Board of Castilla-La Mancha, or private, as the Pontifical University of Comillas ICAI-ICADE and the Spanish Club of Energy.

Publications

Ana has published numerous articles in legal magazines such as the following: “brief guide for the implementation of the renewable order” (The Law 8357, 2014);”credit ratings of the electrical in bankruptcy proceedings. Are subordinate claims the surcharges on electricity fees?” (The Law 7905, 2012) or “particularities of singing telecommunication services by telephone” (Aranzadi civil. Doctrinal magazine 8, 2011).

She is also an author of books such as the Book Manual of Claims Management of Consumption in the Telecommunications Sector (2010). She has also contributed to publications such as the Collective Monograph Studies on Telecommunications and Consumer Law, the Comments to the General Telecommunications Law of 1998, The Treaty of the Sale chapter 68, contracts for the supply of gas and electricity, and chapter 75, sale of greenhouse gas emission rights) and the Treaty of Civil Liability.
