Bio

Isabel is an Intellectual Property and Technology lawyer at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She has wide experience in providing legal advice to national and international companies on industrial property, copyright, unfair competition, advertising, technology and digital and innovation matters. Isabel is a member of the Firm’s cross-sectional Sports & Entertainment, Digital, Venture Capital & Startups and Retail groups.

She has a Double degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration (E-5) and a Double L.L.M in Intellectual Property and Admission to the Bar, both by Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), as well as a course on Law, Development and Diplomacy in American Law by Georgetown University (Washington D.C.). Moreover, she has an Executive Program in Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity by IE Law School and is a certified expert by the Blockchain Intelligence Institute in blockchain, smart contracts, tokanization and cryptoactives.

She is a lecturer at several IAB Spain’s Advanced Courses (Legal & Digital Business as well as in the Influencer Marketing and Social Media), and a speaker at different forums on intellectual property and technology. She is also the Spanish representative of Women’s IP World (2021).

Isabel is also the author of several articles in national and international legal journals and publications.
