It has been a long time since the Spanish Supreme Court last resolved a dispute as complex as the present one. Proof of this is that the ‘Audiencia Provincial’ (Provincial Court) upheld a solution that is utterly different from that of the Supreme Court, which in turn departs from what seems to me to be the correct one.
